- Professional experience with application-focused software development
- Solid knowledge of PHP. Extensive experience with Java, C++, or C# may compensate for limited PHP experience, provided the candidate is willing to learn PHP
- Experience working with object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Solid knowledge of SQL, preferably MySQL
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, including Node.js, React, and vanilla front-end development
- Excellent verbal and written English skills

2. Quality Assurance

- Responsible, highly motivated, and team-oriented
- Passion for quality, strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision
- Proven experience in software quality assurance (minimum 5 years’ experience)
- Ability to understand business requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle and software engineering concepts
- Excellent hands-on manual testing experience
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Define and implement quality assurance practices and procedures for the company
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Design, develop and execute automation tests
- Identify, track, and report bugs throughout their life cycle, following up on each case as needed
- Execute assigned testing, whether manual or automated
- Handle acceptance testing for new features and functionality
- Participate in requirement analysis and design phases to provide valuable input to the development process
- Estimate testing complexity for user stories
- ISTQB Foundation or higher level certificate
- Understanding of Web applications and services
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin (Behat, Speckflow or Cucumber)
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
- Agile development experience (Kanban, Scrum)
- Hands on experience with software development
